Why we are building OFCPoker.EU

24 Aug 2026 · OFCPoker.eu

Open Face Chinese has quietly become the game everyone plays in the hotel bar after the Main Event busts. Walk through any European festival at 2am and you will find the same picture: phones down, three rows of cards, someone arguing about whether to chase Fantasyland. The game already has the players. What it never had is a structure.

The gap

OFC events exist — Rozvadov has drawn fields of fifty-plus, the Baltics run them at every major stop — but each one lives and dies alone. No season, no standings, no reason to travel for the next one. A game this social deserves a race worth following, and that is the gap OFCPoker.eu closes.

One season, one champion

Starting in 2026, every OFC event inside a partner festival counts towards a single season-long leaderboard. The scoring is deliberately egalitarian: a fixed points table scaled by field size, where the buy-in never matters. Your season is your best 10 results, and to win anything you must play at least two partner brands — a European champion should be made in more than one country. At the end of the year we crown the first European OFC champion — with fully added prizes for 2027 on the way.

More than a ranking

A leaderboard alone does not grow a game — new players do. That is why the site ships with the OFC Academy: a free school with 14 lessons, 7 guides and an interactive Board Studio, in English and Spanish, plus a free account that tracks your progress and connects you to the tournaments. Bar game to festival staple: that is the plan.

The point is not the prize

Prizes will be announced in their own time. What we actually want is for players walking past the tournament desk to see “OFC Pineapple” on the schedule and know it is part of something bigger — and for other brands to look at the standings and put an OFC event on their own schedule.

If you run a festival and want your OFC event in the 2026 season, get in touch.
